HOW TO REFRESH A KIDS ROOM IN ONE MONTH

Yay! The real is here. This years New Year New Room refresh challenge was definitely a true challenge indeed. With this girls room I ran into so many obstacles. I had one design in mind that I was sure of, and then boom it was a no go.

I knew when starting this room I didn’t want to build anything such as a built in bed. I just wanted her room to grow with her but also not look to much older than what a 5 year old room should look and feel like. I couldn’t thank my friend Stephanie from Casa Watkins Living enough for allowing me to challenge myself yet again with doing a room makeover in one month. It’s not as easy as it seems.

I love the way her closet turned out. The one thing I noticed is that Jersi has a lot of shoes. She’s definitely her moms daughter. This update didn’t cost much at all, and didn’t require a lot of work. If you want to create this space follow the steps I took in the post.

This bedroom is truly fit for my big girl. It has her in every piece I choose from the little black ballerina on the bedding and the image to the floor mirror she will dance in forever.
